Pindrop, a global leader in voice authentication and security, has announced the successful acquisition of $100 million in debt financing from Hercules Capital. This substantial funding will allow Pindrop to advance its innovative audio, voice, and AI technologies, enhancing its services for clients across various sectors, including banking, finance, contact centers, insurance, utilities, healthcare, and retail.
Datricks
Israeli tech startup Datricks is set to enhance its risk management platform following the successful completion of a $15 million Series A funding round, which saw participation from enterprise software giant SAP, as stated by Datricks’ chief technology officer.
Iluma
Illuma Labs, a fintech company specializing in voice authentication technology for banking contact centers, has successfully raised $9 million in a Series A funding round.
The round was led by LiveOak Ventures, with contributions from Forefront Venture Partners, Curql Fund, UsNet, Capital Factory, Connexus, and TDECU. This funding will support the development of Illuma’s voice biometric solutions, aimed at preventing fraud, detecting deepfakes, and enhancing security for credit unions and banks.

Axle Automation, headed by CEO and co-founder Ioannis Giannaros, has raised $2.5 million to grow its team and improve its innovative compliance solutions.
This funding round was led by Diagram Ventures, with additional contributions from Mistral Ventures, Uphonest Capital, StreamingFast, and several strategic angel investors.

Mastercard
Mastercard announced on Thursday that it is entering the threat intelligence sector with its planned acquisition of Recorded Future. The acquisition, valued at $2.65 billion, involves the 15-year-old company that specializes in threat intelligence solutions.
Unico
Brazilian digital identity unicorn Unico has announced additional acquisitions. The selfie biometrics provider, supported by major investors such as Goldman Sachs, SoftBank, and General Atlantic, is acquiring the Mexican digital identity verification startup Trully.AI.
