
About-Fraud.com to Report from Money20/20 Europe
Money 20/20 Europe, a three-day fintech conference, is set to open this Monday in Copenhagen for its second year. The conference will feature demos, pitches and speeches by some of the biggest players and newcomers in fintech in the European market including in the areas of fraud prevention and payments.
With almost 4,000 attendees last year, including over 500 CEOs and 1,000 companies from more than 50 countries, Money20/20 Europe is expected to make headlines across fintech. About-Fraud.com will be providing some fraud insights from the conference and expert panel discussions and as well as some news if the event lives up to its billing. Some of the themes expected to interest fraud industry players include Risk, Security & Fraud, Crossborder Disruption in Payments and Processing POS & Open Platforms.
Money20/20 Europe will kick-off tomorrow with a keynote speech by Square’s CEO Jack Dorsey that will address the point of sale (POS) merchant services provider’s recent expansion into Europe and future plans. In the fraud space, fraud prevention startups Feedzai, Fraugster and Riskified will be seeking to raise their profile at the conference alongside booths manned by major anti-fraud platforms like Accertify, Cybersource and Threatmetrix, among others. Major data providers to fraud vendors and merchants’ in-house anti-fraud solutions will be at the conference, including LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Whitepages and PIPL. Last but not least, all the major credit card networks, except China’s UnionPay, will be at the conference, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Japan’s JCB and Discover – most serving as sponsors for the event.
